A Life in Art

Art has always been at the center of my life. I was raised in a creative household—my father, Pellumb, is a renowned writer and art director, and my mother, Xhulieta, is an actress. From a young age, I was immersed in the world of storytelling and performance. My parents brought me to the theater every day, where I spent my time among scenic artists, watching them transform empty stages into breathtaking worlds. That’s where I fell in love with painting—it became my language, my way of bringing stories to life.

Fast forward to today, and I continue that passion in multiple ways. For over 20 years, I have worked as a commissioned portrait artist, creating highly detailed, expressive paintings that capture the essence of my subjects. My deep understanding of portraiture allows me to bring incredible realism and emotion into every wedding painting I create.

I also have experience as a wedding and event photographer, giving me a trained eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling—skills that directly inform my approach to live painting.

Beyond weddings, I work as a scenic artist for Broadway theaters and television productions, painting large-scale scenic backdrops and set pieces. This background has given me an exceptional sense of color, depth, and atmosphere—elements that elevate every piece I create.
